Lake Havasu Golf Tournament for the Cancer Association
Millions of people in the United States live with some form of cancer every single day. In fact, the American Cancer Society estimates that over 1.7 million US citizens will be diagnosed with cancer in 2019. They expect 37,490 of those to be located right here in Arizona alone. Finding better treatment of and a cure for this disease is extremely important. That’s why Havasu Community Health hosts its Tee Up for Cancer event each year.
The Tee Up for Cancer Lake Havasu golf tournament begins with a shotgun start at 8 am on Saturday, April 13th. Everyone plays in a four-person scramble format. Yes, competition runs high. But, fun should really be the word of the day. Mulligans and 50/50 raffles will also be available for an additional cost. Pay special attention to holes 9 and 17. That’s where someone will win a special prize for longest drive and closest to the pin, respectively.
