Havasu RC Raceway July 4th Grand Finale
For the price of admission ($20 per person), Lake Havasu residents and visitors can see the last race ever at the Havasu RC Raceway. As part of your entry fee, attendees will chow down on hot dogs, hamburgers and a refreshing beverage (it’s going to be hot). Some of the activities planned for the day include a high jump contest, Last Man Standing, two man race and a raffle. All proceeds for the day will help fund the new Havasu RC Raceway track at SARA Park. For more info, please call (928) 230-4297.
Reading of the Declaration of Independence
Take July 4th fun in Lake Havasu back to the beginning with a reading of the Declaration of Independence under the London Bridge at 10am. The declaration will be read by the Lake Havasu High School’s Constitution Club with an original recording of the one and only Kate Smith’s rendition of “God Bless America”. Everyone is encouraged to bring a chair with them for comfort. Free flags, water and balloons will be on-site.
Free Movies for Kids in Lake Havasu City
Get out of the heat for some July 4th fun in Lake Havasu at UltraStar Cinemas. “Rise of the Guardians” will begin at 9:30am and is presented absolutely free of charge. Other kids movies will be available throughout the month of July for free. To find out more, please call (928) 764-2010.
