Just because we live in the desert doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a winter wonderland. The London Bridge Resort has been working feverishly to transform their tennis courts into an ice rink so that they can bring ice skating to Lake Havasu as early as this Friday. The 25′ x 68′ long rink is much larger than last year’s ice rink, allowing for more people to enjoy some ice skating fun at a time.
Even though the weather hasn’t been particularly cooperative, the General Manager of London Bridge Resort remains optimistic that they will be able to open up their ice rink this Friday, November 30th. The response to last year’s efforts was so overwhelmingly positive, the resort is excited about providing this fun recreational event again this year for Lake Havasu visitors and residents. The rink’s hours of operation will be from 4pm to 9pm Sunday through Thursday and 4pm to 11pm every Friday and Saturday until January. The only day the rink will be closed will be Christmas Day. For just $8, you will receive 1 1/2 hours of ice time. Skates will be available to rent as well.
Who says you can’t enjoy icy fun in the desert? The London Bridge Resort plans on bringing ice skating to Lake Havasu this Friday, November 30th. Whether it’s on the lake or frozen and indoors, Lake Havasu residents really enjoy anything having to do with water!
